The code is pretty simple, it just take files one by one from the directory and assemble them in a bigger file (the .iso).

Everything will be ok, but some games (not a lot, especially FMV) may run out of sync music/image.
Maybe someone made a list of the games which don't adapt.

If you have .brm file of 8KB... that's the megacd backup ram... Usable in Kega and Gens afaik.

I suppose the MDPRO just use some bankswitch and *probably* locks its register before jumping on your ROM... so you would not be able to bankswitch back...

No idea if you can add SRAM to the megacart (while the PCB have sram chipset soldering area if i remember). It will depend if Tomy kept or removed MDPRO sram features from the megacart chipset ...

No, nothing can change the frequency of the megadrive from the cartridge.
To get 60hz, i'm 99% sure you need to open your megadrive and add a switch. Smile

You need to switch the megadrive to make it run at 60hz. Its not possible to do that from a cartridge adaptater (like snes, seems?).

No, this wont work, and it is 100% incompatible. You would not be able to solder the flash back anyway as it is industrial, very very small chipset.
