I just read everything i could find about this one and alot of people here sugests that you change the voltage regulator if it's not working, where is it located?
could someone circle it
Also i'm wondering if this plug can melt somehow or if it just looks like that

on the 3rd pic, the black little thing screwed to the box. must be a 7805. |

thanks for the fast answer, that's defenitely it, the mysterious little black piece that fell out when i opened it up was a piece from the regulator, so it needs to be replaced
i guess i will need a soldering iron and what else?
what's the difference beetwen linear and LDO regulators?
wich one has the right specifications
