I'm thinking about buying a Game Doctor SF7 from tototek, but does it include the special CD-ROM?

Hi there - I don't work for them - but ToToek is a great supplier, but they aren't much on e-mail replies (mabye they are really busy?)

To answer your question, no. It does not include the CD-Rom drive unit. (I've ordered one, fully expecting to get just the unit and cart exteneder, which I did). These CD drives are rare, and one would cost at least 60 dollars by It self I'd guess.

Its acutally not all that special - its a 2x propritary panasonic 563 drive and a bit of an interface in a convient case.

I still recomend getting an SF7 though. They aren't made anymore, and there can only be so many of them available.

It's not so much that not getting e-mails is that big of a deal, it's just that I needed to be sure I could trust that if I sent them the $55 I would get the SF7.

Hi there,
I am VERY much wanting an snes copier. All I see listed is the game doctor series which I believe is the japanese equivelant to the USA professor series. Will the Doctor SF7 work on a USA machine?

If not what should I do?

hope anyo9ne can help.

thanks

Andrew

Hi,

Today I received my Game Doctor 7 from Tototek.
It works just fine on my PAL SNES (I've disabled the lockout chip).
This should also work for the US SNES.

Bytheway, you can change your GD7 into a Professor SF II, just by adding one jumper. I really works. See:

hi,
I just ordered my SF7 from tototek. I am hearing now that the unit doesn't in fact come with the power supply for it? =(. I am wondering which one EXACTLY I need. I would HATE to fry this thing from using the wrong one. any info would be appreciated on getting an official one or a perfect substitute.

thanks

The GD7 needs a powersupply with the following specs:
DC: 9V - 12V and 850mA - 1,5A

The inner pole is the negative pole!!!

I am using the powersupply of my Sega MegaDrive to power the GD7. It works just fine.

say... has anyone else receieved an email when ordering from here about their order being shipped? I ordered a few days ago and haven't heard a thing back even after paying by paypal and notifying them by email of doing so. Now it says they are on holiday till next week and I'm wondering if my order shipped and they just didn't tell me. Is this normal operation for them?
