|

I finally found a Windows computer that has a parallel port... my wife's laptop. I checked the BIOS settings to make sure the printer port is set to EPP, and yet the Super Flasher software is not able to detect any cart. I tried both the SuperFlash cart and an actual SNES cart... neither were detected.
I also tried EPP v1.7 and v1.9... both failed to work. So what should I do? Is my SuperFlash broken? I am using the USB and parallel port cables that I bought from Tototek.
I would prefer to not have to return the SuperFlash, but if I can't get it to work then I will be forced to return it. |

Ok I tried out the SuperFlash on another Windows computer. I was able to install the SuperFlasher application, but this time when I try to run the application I get the following error: "NT Port Driver Couldnt Start. Something Wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Again, I am my cart is not detected and I cannot upload or download games with SuperFlasher. |

What windows are you using ?
seems to be a problem with the io drivers.
Anyway it does not work under any emulation on a linux pc, so forget that. |

I tried a fresh Windows 2000 install on a computer at work. On the other computers that I was trying it on, I was using a power user account... not an administrator account. I think that made a difference.
Tototek really needs to help uCon64 support the SuperFlash Cart because uCon64 supports just about everything else, and it also runs on multiple operating systems such as Windows and Linux. |
