I bought the card back when you first released them, 64 MBit and added the extra cap to it to stop it from crashing. Lately if I save a game then play it again a day or so later, the save will be gone. I tried replacing the battery and still, it loses the saves.
Ideas? |

If I knew what chips were in the cart I might be able to peruse some datasheets and think of something... Arakon had pics of the PCB over at Eidolon's Tavern, but that thread's apparently fallen off the index and the archives aren't accessible at the moment... |

I had the same problem and the failure was mine. I had several roms on the card and while playing Soleil (other name in us/jap) my saves weren't saved. When it was alone on the card, all was ok.
What was the problem? I didn't gave one of the four banks explicitly to the rom in multirom mode. |
