I have a Z64 with latest bios that lets you use compact flash cards via an IDE to CF adaptor. It works great with my 2gb CF card, but I just got an 8gb CF card and I need to know how I partition it (with 4 equal partitions) to work with the Z64? I am not knowledgeable about linux, so if there is a windows program that will let me do this, let me know. I tried doing it with partition magic 8 but my CF card isn't recognized (windows can see it and format it, but I can't delete the partition in the computer disk management).
thanks!
also after you properly partition an 8gb disk, how would you then put the ROMS on each partition? |

Hmmm, worked for me. Are you using it in a usb adapter? I think you will need to use an IDE to CF adapter so the bios picks it up as a HD. _________________ http://www.supermagi.com - Backup Unit Museum
