I have a super famicom and a game doctor sf7 menu screen working fine ,floppy drive working fine , self test all works no problems..

i have cleaned and cleaned both sf7 and snes connectors but every time i play a cart through the sf7 it goes to a black messed up graphic screen , and sometimes may flick back ? is this still a connections problem or other
also the same thing happens when i boot a floppy ? i use ucon and have a wildcard so im used to cracks and fixes for that copier am i missing out on any thing for the sf7 ? any help would be great as im a little confused

It would only be a connection problem if sometimes you also have corrupted gfx or a blank screen upon powering the system on. If the menus always come up and games always load, it's not a connection issue.

hmm ... could it be that my dc adaptor has the right power but only 50hz , i live in the uk , i know the super famicom power has 50-60hz written on it ? also my sf has a ch1 ch2 mod on it would that screw up a game or mess around with the out put ? i have had a pal 50hz rom working without it going black and glitchy ?

I have a similar problem like you. I had an US Super Nes and my SF6 makes interpherences. I changed the console with a PAL Super Nes and it works fine. When i play cartridges on my US Super Nes, all works fine but when i plug my SF6 on it, then there are interpherences. I also live in Europe, but i don't think that it has something to do with 50/60 Hz. Because output of the power supplies is always DC. And DC has no Hz. It's straight line. Nevertheless, i will try it with a voltage converter from my colleague and a US NTSC power supply.

Tried it with a NTSC power supply and a step down converter. The result was the same. I still have got the interpherences.
