I have a Z64 with latest bios that lets you use compact flash cards via an IDE to CF adaptor. It works great with my 2gb CF card, but I just got an 8gb CF card and I need to know how I partition it (with 4 equal partitions) to work with the Z64? I am not knowledgeable about linux, so if there is a windows program that will let me do this, let me know. I tried doing it with partition magic 8 but my CF card isn't recognized (windows can see it and format it, but I can't delete the partition in the computer disk management).

thanks!

also after you properly partition an 8gb disk, how would you then put the ROMS on each partition?

Try using fdisk from a bootdisk/usb pen and partition.

Hmmm, worked for me. Are you using it in a usb adapter? I think you will need to use an IDE to CF adapter so the bios picks it up as a HD.
