Is the "$85 - MD Pro 32M Full (Cart w/case + Programmer)" all that's required?
What other necessities do I need to pickup before I order?
Thanks |

I think you'll need the USB and Parallel Port cable too. And ofcourse you need a PC with a suitable parallel port, which means it must support a certain mode I think it is EPP. |

Try and go for Windows 98 (or something like that) if you can because it works better with parallel ports. If you have to use XP install UserPort. Made the parallel port work with a GBXchanger and the SNES flashcart Tomy sells on several different computers. |

I have to say that if you can get a Win98 PC to use with it, definitely do it. Win98 and the parallel port work great compared to XP. I have an EPROM programmer I bought years ago that I thought was broken all this time until I tried it on an old Win98 laptop and it worked perfectly. Win98 can make all the difference sometimes. |

Use Ubuntu and ucon64. Alternatively, Oerg did a DOS frontend for the DOS version of ucon64. You could get a REALLY cheap old PC and just use DOS, ucon64, and that frontend.
