Hi,

If anybody is willing to post a list of games that use a special chip and therefor won't work on the flashkit.

Would be nice if posted all in the same way like:

US name | PAL name (if different) | Regio | Special Chip
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Starfox | Starwing | US/PAL/JAP | SuperFX

(This is just an example, if you know a better way, feel free.)

Also post your combinations here on how you managed to get a game working.

Like for Example -> Super Mario Kart.

Game (CHIP) | Boot cartridge
------------------------------------------------------
Super Mario Kart (DSP1) | Super Air Diver

Super Mario Kart won't run if you don't use the T-Connector with a proper original cartridge in it. I got it running with "Super Air Diver" (also a DSP1 game) in the back of the T-Connector.

It would be wise to post a list of games that use special chips, which we know will not work with the flash cart even if you use the T-connector. There is no reason to have people test and post that games with special chips do not work. However, if such games do work with the T-connector, PLEASE POST! That would be a surprise for everybody Smile

Well let's post a list Smile

Also let know how you managed to get some games running. Like what original cart did you use to get Super Mario Kart running for example

Mega Man X3 (US) will work with the T-Connector and a game that has the CX4 chip inside.

I am also trying to flash Mega Man X2, but the rom I have gets a 'Read beyond end of file' error about 3/4 of the way before it's done being flashed. Is there anyway I can fix this rom somehow?

now the question is, HOW many games uses the CX-4 chip.

If it sticks only to megaman, then i better buy those (it's no use to put megaman X3 in the back to play megaman X3 from the flashcard)

Well, it seems the Mario Chip (Super FX) in the Starwing games you can't play.

I flashed PAL Starwing 1.1 rom to the card and booted it with a Us starfox cart in the back, -> Black screen
Same if i use a PAL Starwing in the back with PAL Starwing flashed, Same for both with a US rom of Starfox flashed.

figured it out already, i bought some games with all kinds of chipset.
All it does is run the gamecart instead of the flashkit, or it gives black screen, or it gives strange messed up gfx, etc...

Anyway i'll hope some solution will come out for the not dsp1 special games Smile (like a special T-Connector to use with the existing flashkit, if that is possible)

Can I play a PAL rom if I use a PAL game cartridge and the T-connector?

I tried playing Terranigma on my American SNES (the newer redesigned model) and I get the message saying the game is not compatible with my SNES.

Is it possible to change the territory of a SNES rom through a software application just like how Dreamwriter for the MD-Pro flashcart lets you change the territory of Genesis/Mega Drive roms?

I just solved my own problem.
I used SNESTOOL v1.2 and converted the rom to USA.
Now I can play the rom on my American SNES! Cool

I just got me Rockman X2 and X3 from japan.

When flashing Rockman X3 to the flashcart and putting Rockman X2 in the Back of the T-connector, It just boots from the Rockman X2 cart, not from the flahcart.

Same Vica Versa Rockman X3 in the Back and Rockman X2 flashing.
------------

Seems somehow the Rockman takes the boot process before the Flahcart.

Anyway
