Hello. I've had this device for almost 4 years now, and the computer I was using in the past would work with the super flasher software.

The computer I use now does have a parallel port, and I set to EEP in the bios, but I get that error now.

I have all the files that are required, as I read another topic with a similar problem, but I can't get mine working.

Please help!

What are the differences between your old and new computer? Are you sure you have the parallel port I/O drivers installed to use it as it is required to get some sort of drivers to use it on Windows 2000, XP, and up.

Its still a single core with the onboard parallel port. No PCI card or anything.

I am running Windows 7 though

Well I'm not aware if Windows 7 is compatible. Perhaps someone else will know. The easiest way to work with parallel devices though is by using an older machine running Windows 98. I bought an old laptop with parallel port to run Win98 on to work with my parallel devices. Not the ideal solution but it works. All I can suggest is trying to get it to work like you would for Win XP, which probably means installing the correct Port I/O driver. But it may not be anything wrong you did as Win7 may just not work.

Well at that point it would just be cheaper to just play snes games on the wii, which I like to do too.

I've been browsing older threads and other people get this error, but they found fixes for their specific issues

Are your sure it's supposed to be EEP mode? All the other adapters I've seen that use the parallel port use EPP mode.
