Come to find out, X-Terminator is the same device as Game Wizard. This means it supports both RAM and ROM cheats. When looking for codes on the internet, just search for Action Replay/Pro Action Replay codes instead of X-Terminator, since their the same thing. To use Game Genie codes, you must first un-encrypt them to make them be a PAR (aka RAW) code. The best code database website would be gamehacking.org, here is the SNES database http://gamehacking.org/?sys=snes It's worth noting that only the Genesis and SNES Pro Action Replay (as far as I know) support ROM (aka Game Genie) codes.
Now the Gold Finger I'm not sure about, I would love to have more info on that cheat system. If I'm not mistaken it supports ROM (vs RAM) cheats only, and can patch 3 bytes per cheat (vs 1 byte per code like Game Genie).
Also, if you like having cheats pre-patched into your games, the program known as 'Classic Cheat Code Game Patcher' is a great tool. You can also find it at GameHacking.org http://gamehacking.org/download
Edit:
Found more info on the Gold Finger cheat type finally:
