Don't forget there where actually 4 models for the US Very Happy

1 Megadrive/Genesis with modem port on the back (Has also written in the circle "High Definition Graphics.Stereo Sound")

then a later model WITHOUT the modem port on the back and NO writing on the circle (the one surrounding the cartridge slot)

Then the Cheap Megadrive II/Genesis 2 and for the US only the Genesis 3

(I'm not counting the portable nomad and wondermega's, or other specials)

I have one Megadrive with a female db9 port...

Then is a serial port? can i connect a modem on it? runs all modems? there are some app(s) game(s) that uses it?
