New version of Dreamwriter released, now it adds suppor for ECP+EPP parallel modes (some computers strangely enough dont have EPP mode, thus those users couldnt flash with earlier software versions)

I dont know whats that GIveIO, but i guess its some kinda program or app right?...and in that case the answer is NO, you dont need to install any other software than the DreamWriter to flash games on MD PRO or MD PRO PLUS  |

| GiveIO is something that I think gives direct port access to non-kernel programs in Windows XP/2k. Not sure. I know that I need it for Ucon64 unless I go into real dos mode. |

Well, in that case...if youre using windows you dont need anything else other than Dream Writer to flash roms to your MD PRO  |

the ability to edit the name headers on the roms would be nice also maybe making dreamwriter a much lighter program 
it has a very heavy gui and is very slow |

| One request: The programm brings an error-message, if a file to copy has the Read-Only attribute set. Change this, because I want my roms copy directly from CD/DVD. |

| You can just transfer the files on CD to your hard drive, and then change the Read-Only attribute setting so you can copy them to your MD PRO. No need to wait for a patch. |

I think he knows he can do that. By what he posted, he wants to copy/flash the games straight from the CD/DVD without first having to copy them to the HD. I'd like to see this option in Dreamwriter, for WHEN I get my MD flash cart, as I'm in the process of transfering all my ROM collections to CD-R and DVD-R.
Anyway, just my thoughts and opionions on the subject.

| Yes I know this. But when I only want to test some roms, it is nice when I can direct copy them from the DVD or CD. |
