Multinorm? Do you mean a SNES with some of of regional switch? Basically the CIC has 2 versions. There is a NTSC version and a PAL version. North American and Japan games are NTSC so you can use those cartridges on eachother. PAL is different and only compatible with PAL regions.
If you have a PAL SNES system, you need to manually desolder a PAL CIC to put in your flash cart, or what might be easier is to get an import game adapter and buying the NTSC CIC chip to put in your Flash cart.
Basically your CIC in the cartridge must match your console. If you have a NTSC system (USA or Japan) you can buy a NTSC CIC chip. If you have a PAL system, you have to get a PAL CIC yourself, tototek doesn't have them. But like I said, if you have an import playing adapter to play NTSC cartridges on your PAL system you could get a NTSC CIC from tototek and just play it through the adapter. |
