I have "super famicom <---> Super Nes" game adapter do i still need the T-connector?
I am buying the superflash card and would like to know what package is best to play US games. I have most SNES/Famicom rpg's english/japanese is my "famicom <---> Super Nes adapter" enough to play them
i would like to play games like mario kart, mario world, mario all-stars most of my original carts has stopped working -
i have the north american SNES and i am planning on buying
1: Super Flash 64M Card kit with case for SNEX
2: SUPER T CONNECTOR for SUPER-FLASH CARD <----?????
3: CIC-161 Chip (Japan) for SUPER-FLASH 64M Card <---??????
whould this package play those games or do i only need 1? |

i searched the forums for 2 days - nothing came up for famicom to super NES so shut up
T-connector = plays dsp1 games
cic chip - i dont know what it does but it sound like it bypasses country lockout
all i wanted is for someone to confirm if i needed to buy ALL THREE items - SIGH

Ok, then fine, you need to buy all three. You may even need two of each.

Yes, if you don't need DSP1 game support, then Super Flash Cart + CIC-161 is enough for your NTSC snes. |

buying all three
the cic chip is placed on the flashcart and is enough to play game without special chips (super-fx, dsp2-4, etc will not work)
if i would like to play an origical dsp1 game(mario kart) then the t-connector+flashcart is needed.
i finally understand, thanks for your email tomy |
