As far as Bung products go, I'm still missing the "green label" SF6. It's extraordinarily rare and I don't even have a picture that I can find. Have seen it, but probably won't ever again; i ... |

Thanks, man! Me too. A lot of this stuff is hard to find these days... Even the "common" variants.

Updating only because it's amusing:
I bought the very same SFII (+that SNES) from that picture years later (That homemade PSU was a dangerous piece of shit!). That SNES was also a particularly bad ... |

Glad to be of help. The SF6/7 units don't require an unplug when you take them out and replace passthrough, but it's probably a little safer and it is nice to have one in SF state, especially if you h ... |

Yeah it came from the UK and I suspect this was a mod for UK consoles. I'll be replacing that CIC with one from a cheap donor game. I didn't find any broken traces on my quick visual inspection, but I ... |

Yes, you can switch it to Professor SF mode by doing that. I did it with one of my SF6s. |

Ok, so I collect and own a bunch of SF6/7 variants and just received an SF7 from the UK to replace or swap board with my own dead "plain" SF7 depending on shell condition, and I immediately ... |

Thanks, but I already figured out that I have no need for another repro of it; even if you use a legit SNES PCB, GameDoctors are still not going to play nice with it. I tested various repro carts and ... |

Yeah, 'silly' was half the reason we were drawn to the whole concept. We have no need for a flash cart or even reproductions, as we own all the games that require these chips.

I figured as much with the FX chips; this was more for Cx4 (and perhaps the SA-1). From what I understand of the Cx4, it sits between the ROM and the SNES, and a good part of its code is embedded in t ... |

Sorry this is so late, but you have confused 'BRAM' with 'Saver'. The Saver feature is a sort of psuedo-savestate function that you're probably better off not using anyway. BRAM stands for Battery Rea ... |

This isn't exactly a product suggestion per se, because the market would be extremely niche and price would be through the roof; it's more of a project idea that I'm sharing with a friend.
