Edit: I have a Mitsumi FDD, model D353M3D. I'm not sure if that'll work, but it says it requires 5V. I'll get on Google and see if I can find more info on the drive.

maybe the ioport direct access layer causes the problem

check the command line options.
for transmit ROM to GD,you should use "--xgd6"(or "--xgd3"), not "--xgd6s"(or "--xgd3s"),it's for transmiting SRM file. |
