Your choices are pretty much the DPF, MGH (piece of crap), SMD or MD+. DPF is probably the easiest one to find and gets the job done, if not a little over sized.

If you want to load from CDROM your choices are Tototek's own MegaCart or the obscure Alma VR-CD.

The Alma VR-CD is like impossible to find. I have never been able to find it.
Megacart works pretty well, but is limited to 24mb of useable memory for ROMS when loading from SegaCD and no SRAM support.

Kyuusaku will tell you in the next post that the Alma is easy to find if you look the right places. Bet?

I was actually expecting madman to say something a lot worse by now. Something like,

"what's wrong with you, you can't find an Alma VR-CD ?"

If it were easy to find would I write "obscure"? Rolling Eyes I personally don't think they're that interesting so I've never actively looked for them, but since I've come across some for sale over the years I wouldn't call them "like impossible to find" either. If you wanted one so bad you could surely offer enough money for one to fall out of the woodwork.

I was actually expecting eastbay to ask yet another question that's been answered here multiple times, could be answered by using Google or by spending 2 minutes to try to figure something out on his own.

Trust me, I already tried google, ebay, yahoo japan auctions, and many others. Even though I have and it is known that they are obscure, I knew you would still have to say just because I inquired about it.

Don't know what you are talking about but I guess my offer to give you $500 to STFU every time I post went over your head...

Why is the MGH a piece of crap? I bought one used back in 1991/92 or so and it still works to this day. I've played it for hundreds of hours. Smile

16M only, but that was never a huge deal to me.

If anyone has one for sale, I'd buy another right now to have a spare, since they are "crap". Smile
