Hi,
Megacart mains features are to "bypass segacd region protection" and "backup segacd backup ram".
MDpro main (and unique) feature is to play roms
Of course, megacart can also play roms but with the fallowing limitations:
-No SRAM game support
-No action replay support (for now)
-Only 24Meg max (while mdpro can do 2*32MEG).
So, depends of your needs, if you don't have a megacd, I think mdpro is way better because it will let you to play most roms
Thx for your interest, feel free to ask if you have other things in mind. |

Megacart also allows roms to be loaded from the Sega CD, iirc.

No, that's not the same technology.
Else their would be no reasons for megacart to exist
If you have any other question, don't hesitate. |

I got my megacart and it works like a charm, I love it and I wont miss my MD PRO. I never liked having to use 2 cables to flash that thing
Long live the megacart! _________________ MSG ME IF YOURE SELLING GENESIS GAMES! |
