Do you have a RAM board to begin with? If not you're probably SOL since DPF use unique boards and you can't just get one without the copier. If you do have a 16M or 24M board, you shouldn't have too hard a time getting someone to upgrade it to 32M.

Hi kyuusaku

The opriginal DPF 24m ram boards had a 50 Pins type connector, and
there was 6 ICs labelled NEC Japan 424800-70
The guy that I swapped was convinced it would work as mine worked in his.
The ram board that I now have can be seen by the DPF,but the memory cant be accessed while playing roms.
The 32m ram board with 50 pins type connector as now got a smaller PCB with four memory ICs labelled
X2 DRA41067H-SD 9508 TWN
X2 DRA41067H-SE 9508 TWN
I have noticed on this ram board that it has 0 ohm links, not so sure if it can be configured to work with my DPF though.Any help would be appreciated
I hope this info helps.

Maybe he had bad RAM and wanted to trade for your good RAM? Why would he give up 32M for 24M? :P

Can you post a good picture of your board? (top and bottom)

Hi kyuusaku

I have tried to explain the fault briefly without upsetting the person who sold me the ram.
The ram was exchanged from a guy who is well known in the UK for selling retro copier/console devices (usually well respected).
This fault could have been rectified by myself had I not been working awkward shift patterns and me contacting the seller earlier.
The unfortunate thing here was my old working ram was sold to someone else working in another copier device owned by the seller.
I will try to upload the PICS of my memory board for you to view.
At the moment the PICS are quite blurred,so i will try a friends camera.
