I was wondering if it was possible to down load a sega cd game on the megacart and then take the ram/ or rom chip out of the megacart, duplicate it, using a device programmer, and then put the new ram/ or rom chip with the newly duplicated game data on it, in a regular sega genesis game cartridge, and then be able to play the sega genesis cartridges with the sega cd game on it on a plain old sega genesis console? Also, can some one tell me if the the chips inside the megacart can be swapped with regular genesis' cartridge chips? (like if there are any simmilarities in the components inside one another?) |

No, this wont work, and it is 100% incompatible. You would not be able to solder the flash back anyway as it is industrial, very very small chipset. |
