Would it be possible to burn Genesis roms to a cd, and then use the SEGA CD system to play them from the disc?
What kind of cd formatting or file conversion would be necessary? |

Definitivly no! The CD-System has other memory-adresses than the Mega Drive / Genesis. Maybe you have a chance, when you would mirror the roms from the cd to a cadridge. But therefore you need such a cadridge and the software which does this. |

MadenMann,
If someone wrote a software program that could do this and then flashed it to the Mega Pro card, do you think this idea would work? |

Ketotot:
Playing Genesis roms on Sega cd would be impossible without some hardware modifications, and reprogramming of the roms.
I think its too much truble, you´d be better buying a MD PRO PLUS and forget about sega cd. |
