I'm amazed that my V64 still works, as Bung made such piles of sh*t back then. I dunno reseat the RAM if you can and not sure much what else. I had to reseat everything in my friend's SWC DX to get it to stop glitching Killer Instinct and SFII Turbo and also had to bend a pin straight and remove some excess solder that was bridging 2 legs on an IC. Sometimes it isn't that easy to fix a copier though. If your backup unit has electrolytic capacitors in it, those could go bad too since they have a MTBF which is lower than the rest of the components on the board. But I haven't had any problems with capacitors before unless that's what killed 6 of my Asus motherboards that I had to replace over the years.
