I just got an SF7, but I am missing the passthrough connector and am looking to see if I can build one. Are the connections straight through or are there other components in there? Any help, pics, links, etc. would be appreciated.

Thanks

They cost twice as much as I paid for the unit which I still haven't been able to test, and I don't really care for any of the dsp games, so I'll only pick one up as a last resort.

It's completely straight through.

As you can see it is straight through, nothing special at all. Using the Blue DSP adapter I'm not sure if that would cause problems or not when trying to play non-DSP1 games. Does anyone here know for sure? I was thinking unless the GDSF can somehow disable the DSP1 chip unless it detects the loaded game needs it that it would possibly conflict with games that might not use it.

Either way I wouldn't buy a DSP adapter unless you intended to use it to play DSP games.

no there's no problems whatsoever with running non-DSP games when you've got the blue DSP adapter installed..

The blue adapter usually doesn't but it can conflict with SRAM.
