I've been looking for a SNES flash cart for years now and I'm so glad to have finally found one! I was looking at what everything would cost me and I want to make sure I don't order anything I don't need.
So let me make sure I get all this right...
Obviously, I need the Flash Cart and the Programmer. What exactly is the T-connecter for? I see that using that, you then plug the flash cart on the top, and...any standard SNES cart on the back to boot? Is that right?
Then there's the little CIC-161 chip which looks like it really just allows you to not have to use the T-connector and another cart to boot (seems the way to go to me).
All I really want this for is to play a handful of old games, but mostly for the translated Seiken Densetsu 3.
So I'd assume all I really need is the cart/programmer and the chip? Well, and cables, of course.
Thanks in advace, and I can't wait to order mine |
