Hi Criston,
I just received your carts + programmer. But everything working fine here.
So, I want to ask again :
1) Do you have right cables ?
2) Have you set EPP port from Bios ?
3) Software have any problem ? Only it can not detect cart ?
Please tell me details. Sorry for your trouble. |

Tomy:
It all works? AHH! lol
Ok here's what happened: I got the equipment and the cables and the software and I set the port to EPP. I would plug in the carts and everything seemed to be working fine; the software recognized the carts and I added the game I wanted to the cart. I would flash the cart, but I would get a blank black screen after each flash, regardless of the game I tried to flash. No game worked I tried several. Then, after about three flash trys on each cart, the programmer stopped recognizing my cart's info. In the place that usually displayed the games on the cart, something like this appeard: ##$$$()@(#((#((#(#)#)KSKSFD(#KSKSLDK(@#( and it would constantly change. So I thought my cart was messed up, but all my flash carts did the same thing so I thought it was my programmer. I don't know what to do. Perhaps I could try switching to someone else's PC. I was already using a friend's and I felt bad about burdening him. If you could, The games I want on the carts are Secret of Mana 2, Tales of Phantasia, and Terranigma (all in English of coarse) That's all I want to put on them. One game per cart. I understand if it is too much trouble, however. Thanks for all your help,
-Criston |

Yes, it all work, that's strange that you can't make it work. That make me think other roblem, maybe parallel cable bad. And if your bios setup can set EPP v1.9, then set it to v1.9.
Anyway, I'll give you new programmer, then you can try again.
Yes, no problem to help you to flash game for your flash cart. Please email me rom image or link to the roms.
Anything you want me to do before I ship your goods back ? |
