Hi,
I have a Game Master backup/copier for the Famicom, made by Bung. It has a 15-pin D connector (same as the expansion connector of a Famicom console) marked COM PORT.
Can I use the Tototek MGD1 cable to hook up to this? Do I need a special software (FDS) disk to make any use of it? Can someone point me to some info/instructions on how to use it? |

Nope, it's only interfaces with the Master Link, and routines to access the FDS through the Master Link are already in the BIOS. It's probable the signals are all there to use the MGD1 protocol, but to do PC transfer you'll have to write FC-side code to receive PCLINK's data and run it. |
