I am interested in this product, but I have a few questions. First, I only have one computer with a parallel port, so would it be possible to program the cart with one of these (or one like it)?

http://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-SBT-UPPC-Parallel-6-Foot-Printer/dp/B0007UVRVO/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1271024745&sr=8-8

Also, the software on the page is called "Linker Software (Dream Writer for genesis) support 95/98/Me/XP/2000"

Does this work on the SNES, is it just the same program for both carts? Also, does it work properly on Windows Vista 64 bit?

Also, do I need anything installed/bought to work on a NTSC console, other than the $80 kit? Do I need the CIC chip?

Also, I checked my computer and I can only change my parallel port to "378, IRQ 7" and "3BC, IRQ 7", will either of the two work?

Thanks a lot!

No, you can't use a USB parallel adapter.

I believe that Dream Writer supports more than just Genesis, and probably does the SuperFlash too. No clue if Win Vista 64 works.

You do not need to modify your console. You do need a CIC in your SuperFlash cartridge, so be sure to buy your cartridge with it. They should install it for you before shipping it.

No clue about your ports.

Just a recommendation, when using parallel port devices it works best in Windows 98 on a computer with a built in parallel port.
