This is a pretty big issue when playing games like Borgman/Cyborg Hunter and Zillion: Tri-formation... you need to use the pause button in order to access your inventory and/or switch player characters.

Doesn't make the games unplayable, mind you, just adds an unintended depth of challenge Laughing
