I got a Supercom Partner 16M and i was wondering if i could upgrade it to 24 or 32M. I've been looking all over the internet and this forum but i havn't found a lot of info on it. Does the Supercom Partner with 16M DRAM even support more RAM? If so, where can i buy it or is there some DIY info to make it yourself  Thanks! |

There are lots of versions and variations of the Supercom Partner so it really depends on the model. Most upgrades had different hardware & software so you can't simply upgrade the BIOS.
It should be able to address 24M or 32M though. For the DIY memory upgrade, check this thread:

My supercom partner DRAM module has the Toshiba ones:
Could i just add two more on the empty spaces of the module so i have 24M? |

They are, this is a dual layer PCB with through hole connecting both sides.
I haven't seen this model, it's probably the early SuperCom Partner. I have the Special version that came after, the board is different and labeled RB-64D which probably means it can be extended to 64M as your RB-32 can be extended to 32M
Not only can you add 2 memory packages on the Component Side, you can also add 2 more on the Solder Side. There you go, 32M.
Just trace the lines between memory packages to make sure you find the same pattern.
You should also add the 2 ceramic capacitors on the component side, probably some 0.1 uF. |

Cheaper to get from some old SIMM 72 pins RAM as we talked about in the thread previously mentionned. Hardest part is to desolder and resolder them... |
