Hi,
my english is not so good, sorry.
I have a Pal SNES, so i need a "CiC Chip" from any PAL Module, or? Really from ANY? I broke one open Mario Paint ( anyway a bad game ), but which is the needed Chip? I Take a pic:
apart from it, when i buy a "T-Connector" i don't need to modify my Flash Card with'n CIC. The Connector does the job for that CIC, right?!
Further, when i won't to play "Mario Kart", can i need "Pilotwings" as DSP-Game? Because, Pilotwings and Mario Kart have the same Chip.
Many thx for answers. |

Yes, you must need cic to run super flash cart. Pal snes need Pal cic "chip marked D413". NTSC snes need NTSC cic "chip marked D411". Newer cic chip marked with "A' or "B" at the end of parts number. If you can solder, you can take cic from original cart. Then solder it to super flash cart. Or when you buy cic from us, we'll solder it for you (but we don't have Pal cic, sorry)
Or you can modify your snes to disable cic. Or you can buy T-Connector, use any original cart plugged on the back of t-connector (cart face up). And turn the switch down position to use original cart cic.
You can not use Pilotwings as DSP decoder for Mario Kart. Althought chip is same, but mapped to different address. |
