Hi,
I am looking for a scan or reproduction of the 1page SMD800 User's Guide. If anyone has this and could scan it I would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

PS: Upon opening my SMD800 I noticed the battery looks like it's leaking. I don't yet have a Genesis here to test it on, but does this mean that it won't load .smc roms or just the SRAM saves? Or it there a chance it will still work on both accounts?

Is there a way to replace this and keep it from happening in the future?

SRAM saving won't work, games will. I would cut off the battery to prevent further damage.

Could it be replaced with another battery?

Sure, just find another 3/3.3V cell.

I see. Any ideas where to find such a battery in the US?

I see these
Rechargeable 3V CR2 800mAh Green 2 Packs
$4.24
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.932

I'm guessing they probably aren't right though.

Thanks

That would be fine if it had leads to solder in. I'm not so sure you should use a rechargeable cell though, I don't think it will be able to recharge in the copier's circuit.

Can you please suggest one? I don't really know what to search for other than 3.3v cell battery. Thanks again!

Great. I appreciate it! Is this the same that the Super Wild Card DX takes also? I might as well buy 2 and be prepared for when the SWC DX corrodes as well Razz

Yeah, but try to find a similar but better battery (300mAh+), 60mAh is pretty low.
