Sorry, it use parallel EPP mode. The USB port use to get +5V power only. |

Is it also possible to connect an external power supply to the MD-PRO flash card programmer? Could be very useful to a lot of people. |

Yes... and can be very simple...
an adapter from DC normal connector to usb... could be very simple make it... and then sending by the power pins the +5v and -5v or... ground ?

Since USB has only +5V and Ground (Pin 1 and 4) you have to use this lines form the DC connector. |
